Travertine, a limestone, is slightly porous and has light colours that range from beige to sand and can also appear pink depending on the incidence of light. Hardly any other city has focused its look on a single stone for more than 2,000 years as much as Rome. This kind of impression of the empire is now reflected in the TEVERE series.
